I’m Mark 36 (M). I live and work between Berlin and the U.K. as an Art & Design Director. After many years of working within the industry I have developed a strong skill set that allows me to actualise the creative vision I have for each project taken on board. Starting off as a fine artist I felt it was important to evolve with technology and embrace all things digital. I soon found myself thinking about visual communication in a more digital centric environment and since then I have dedicated my life to design, digital art, animation, photography and music.

I started to engage with Adobe suite throughout my college education, initially learning Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign to complete my studies and explore various means of process and project completion. In my last year I also began to learn After Effects and Premiere Pro and for my final project I developed an experimental audio visual film which I storyboarded, filmed, edited and created the music for. I continued my studies at the University of the Arts London, specializing in Interactive Design Arts which drew from my already developing skill set and allowed me to train in graphic design for motion and interaction. This created a bridge into industry and I began working for agencies around London's East End, contributing to full time roles as well as freelance and part time. After a rich career of opportunity I have now channeled my skills and experience into a new chapter, working as a freelance designer under my own studio operation.

I work from my home studios on a hybrid basis and I will always be present for on site work and client meetings as and when they are appropriate. This model of working has made way for growth and seeing my process evolve into a full studio operation. I’ve worked with clients in a wide variety of industries and pride myself on my ability to seamlessly integrate to existing brand guidelines regardless of the business model.
 
In my spare time I enjoy learning new things, meditation and producing electronic music which are all aspects of my life that not only inform my design work but also allow me to consider innovations within communication.
